Sporting clays offers a different challenge at every station.
Targets are presented at varying angles, speeds, and distances
to recreate the unpredictable movement of game in the field.
LWSSC offers both an 18-station sporting clays course and a
10-station course, giving shooters plenty of opportunities to
enjoy the sport at their own pace.

Check In
Stop by the clubhouse when you arrive and complete
any required check-in or waiver information.
Gear Up
Bring your shotgun and ammunition or ask about available
rentals and gear at the club.
Hit the Course
Make your way through the stations on foot or by golf cart and
enjoy a variety of target presentations.
Relax & Refuel
After your round, spend some time at the clubhouse
and enjoy the rest of your visit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a member to shoot sporting clays? +
You do NOT have to be a member. Joining annually will lower your target fees and allow your guests to enjoy the lowered rates too.
Can I rent a shotgun? +
Yes, we have several available in adult and youth size shotguns. We have several Browning Citori White Lightning in 12 gauge (14 1/4″ LOP) for rent. In 20 gauge we offer several shorter stocked (13″ LOP) Browning Citori Micro Midas in 20 gauge.
What ammunition should I bring? +
Appropriate shot sizes include 7½, 8, 8½, and 9. Shells are available at competitive pricing at LWSSC in 12, 20, 16, 28, and 410.
Do I need eye and ear protection? +
The Club has plenty of safety glasses that you can borrow. We have several options for purchase on earplugs or you can borrow some of our earmuffs. The Club can provide everything you need for a day of shooting or you can bring your own gear too.
Do you offer instruction? +
Yes. Shooting instruction is available for shooters who would like additional guidance.
Do I need a reservation? +
Reservations are only required for lessons and special events. Reservations are not required on a normal business day. Our calendar highlights any days that we may be closed in red. The calendar is current and may be seen here.
