several levels of instruction designed to help shooters improve.
Lessons are available through LWSSC staff as well as experienced
local instructors and visiting guest instructors throughout the year.

Matt Jackson
Matt Jackson is the Head Coach for the River Region Clay Crushers. His certifications include NRA / USA Certified Shotgun Coach Level 2, NRA Shotgun Instructor, ATA Shooting Coach Level 1, and SSSF / SCTP
SKEET INSTRUCTION
Henry Martin
Instructional classes will be instructed by NSSA certified skeet shooter and instructor Henry Martin. Classes are normally taught as one-on-one and in some cases two students will be accepted. This 2-person max class limit ensures the best and most hands-on and personal training available. Henry is a SMSgt, USAF (retired) and 2 X Alaska Armed Forces High Overall skeet champion. He held AA class in 12 gauge and A class in all other sub gauges. He was also 2006 Alaska State Skeet Champion in .410 gauge posting a 99X100.
BEGINNER • INTERMEDIATE
Clay Cole
Instruction focused on beginner to intermediate shooters.
Availability is generally fall through spring.
SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES
Guest Instructor
Clinics
LWSSC also hosts accomplished guest instructors at select
times throughout the year. Space is limited, so shooters
interested in these opportunities should watch the club calendar
for upcoming dates.
Mike Benton
$100 / hour + targets
Multi-state champion with extensive competitive shooting experience.
John Woolley
$250 / hour + target fees
Renowned international competitor and instructor who visits
LWSSC several times throughout the year.
Diane Sorantino
$175 / hour + target fees
Highly accomplished sporting clays competitor who teaches
shooters ranging from beginners to Master Class competitors.
