This is an continental pheasant hunt. Shooters are awaiting at fifteen stations arranged in a circle around the tower. At each station twenty-five pheasants are released and then shooters rotate to the next station until all stations have been shot. At the end of the shoot all birds are cleaned and divided evenly as shooters are enjoying a nice steak lunch with all the trimmings.
The Continental Pheasant Shoot simulates an European driven hunt consisting of pass shooting.
Dogs are used to retrieve birds. Those wishing to bring dogs MUST register them before the event.
Shooting starts at 9:00 and ends at 12:00.
400 birds released in 3.5 hours
Steak lunches are provided at 12:00-1:00
All birds are cleaned and divided evenly amongst all shooters.
Slots are limited to the first thirty two shooters.
You will need a hunting license, eye and ear protection, blaze orange, five or more boxes of #6 shells, and a cooler to ice your birds down in.
